Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is the largest Catholic lay apostolate for men and women present in over 170 countries! The first Legion meeting was held on September 7, 1921 by our founder, Frank Duff.

Following the example left by St. Louise Marie de Montfort, Frank Duff set the Legion to be Our Lady's army of faithful and her spirit on earth.

We look to her as the ultimate example of how to allow God to use our lives to bring Christ to the world.
